MISSION
The mission of Oslo Innovation Center is to develop commercially viable research projects into profitable enterprises. Our role is facilitating growth by investing in start-ups. We structure dealflow and invest in start-ups coming out of the scientific research environment and industry in the Oslo region.

IDEA TO MARKET
Oslo Innovation Center aims to be one of the leading centers in Europe for innovation and industrial development. Oslo Innovation Center is committed to commercialize ideas and results from research environments. Oslo Innovation Center soon contains more than 140 companies, which means that approx. 1700 people work in the Park.

START-UPS
The start-up process typically involves certain key considerations: developing a business concept, creating a business plan, defining capital needs and securing funds.  Our management resources combined with equity have accelerated many start-ups to become successful enterprises over the past 15 years.

Oslo Innovation Center has an incubator that develops the most promising research and technology projects into viable start-ups. The incubator funding consists of a combination of non-diluting funding/grants and equity.

Together with our investment partner Kistefos, Oslo Innovation Center manages a venture fund, Springfondet that is an early stage investment vehicle taking positions in companies that is past the business incubation.
