On December 11th 2009, the Research Council of Norway announced which projects that have been awarded funds in this autumn’s application round of the research program RENERGI (Clean Energy for the Future). We are very pleased that the research and innovation project “Manage Smart in SmartGrid” launched by the Norwegian Centre of Expertise Energy and Emissions Trading Halden (NCE Halden) and by the Tieto company's Utility Competence Centre in Halden has received full commitment of the financial project support we asked for. This is the second project proposal from the NCE Halden cluster being accepted by the Research Council within one year, a fact that demonstrates the innovation potential of the NCE Halden cluster and its network of industrial and academic partners.
