iDTEQ i Forskningsparken er et av fire selskaper i finalen, valgt ut blant 143 kandidater. iDTEQ utvikler en ny generasjon alarmer til overvåking av bygninger, industriområder og biler. De har patentert et system forhindrer falske alarmer.
iDTEQs mål er å redusere antallet falske alarmer med 80 % og øke deteksjonsområdet og sensitiviteten betydelig fra dagens sikkerhetsanlegg.
Kommersialiseringsfase
Tor Sønsterød i iDTEQ kan også fortelle at selskapet har oppnådd en viktig milepæl ved å inngå partnerskapsavtale med det tredje største sikkerhetsselskapet i Scandinavia, Vakt Service Teknikk AS. iDTEQ går nå inn i kommersialiseringsfasen og vil gjøre sitt første produkt tilgjengelig for markedet i slutten av tredje kvartal 2008.

iDTEQ as is a company that work with Intelligent Intrusion Systems for homes, commercials and vehicles etc. We use patented Artificial Intelligent technology in Detectors and Controllers. Our goal is to reduce false alarms with 80 percent and increase detection area and sensitivity significantly compared today’s traditional Security systems.
iDTEQ sees the possibilities to enhance their technology even further. By using patent applied technology for signal recognition in detectors they may even make it possibly to secure sites the same way as if used a monitoring camera. This may solve a lot of problematic issues with protection of privacy at workplaces, commercial sites etc. The detector will monitor the site and recognize all physical action going on without visually see and distribute pictures of it. iDTEQ holds two patents and have a third patent pending.
iDTEQ also announce that it has signed a partner agreement with the third largest Security Company in Scandinavia, Vakt Service Teknikk AS. iDTEQ is moving into a commercialization phase with their first product availably at the end of third Q in 2008.
