In A2, you will learn more about different topics in Norwegian. The subject builds on skills and knowledge acquired in the A1 module, while providing a richer vocabulary and better knowledge of linguistic structures and grammar. Topics include family and dwelling, personal finance, lifestyle and diet, leisure and social media, holidays and celebrations, geography, schooling in Norway, various occupations, job seeking and CV. The course has assignments in reading comprehension, listening comprehension, grammar, and written assignments.
To ensure that our courses fit professionals in everyday working life, we offer you blended learning (a mix between classroom- and online training). This kind of learning gives flexibility in terms of availability. In other words, it enables you to access the materials from anywhere at any time while enjoying the benefits of face-to-face workshops once a week.
This well organized and perfectly balanced course has a clear focus on vocabulary, grammar, and the students’ ability in producing language and expressing their opinions and views.
Setup very much resembles a theme-based coursebook with a collection of inspiring and relevant texts about Norwegian culture, society, and lifestyle. Each text is followed by multimedia exercises, activities, and grammar explanations. A separate section with interactive exercises will help you review the material while the integrated dictionary will help you memorize new words and expressions through a simple, clear-cut interface that is easy to navigate.
If you wish to do additional work, you will find files for every topic containing extra exercises in grammar, spelling, and pronunciation. All your exercises will be reviewed by your teacher throughout the course, both in the classroom and through online interaction.
During a period of six weeks, we meet once a week in Oslo Science Park. Here we discuss the topics from the online course and practice Norwegian together. You will also be able to ask questions to your teacher and deliberate reflections with your fellow students.
The duration; 6 weeks, with classroom training once a week between 12.30 – 16.30 in Oslo Science Park. It will be served some beverage and simple food in the afternoon (which is included in the course fee).
