“Ask an Artist” is a talk series where you will have the opportunity to drop in and ask graffiti and street artists your burning questions. This time Street Art Oslo will host it in Parken Bakeri.
Artists tend to approach the world and its problems in a way that is unusual, wise and sometimes amusing. Often, when life feels overwhelming, it can be a good idea to consult an artist or an artwork and find an alternative way of engaging with the world around us. Artists are good at using their creativity to ask questions about society and about life’s challenges. They can help direct our curiosity about the world and encourage us to find our own answers.
Perhaps an artist’s perception can help us approach a topic in a new and productive way, or maybe they can help us look at life with a bit of fun and joy. Or maybe you want to know more about a certain technique, or how to nurture your own creativity. There are many ways in which artists can inspire us to find our creative voice.
At Street Art Oslo we work to champion underrepresented voices in the art world and support them as they share their own unique visual language and ideas with people here in Oslo.
The talks is free and open to all.
